Philip E. Hart (Founder, President, CEO)
Philip E. Hart has worked in optimizing oil and gas fields around the world for over 39 years. He’s added around 50 MMBO in recoverable reserves and $10MM per year in cost savings for companies such as Exxon, Plains Resources, Petrohawk, KCS, and others. He has taught artificial lift schools around the world, performed acquisition analysis and implemented the improvements.
After graduating from Auburn University with a BSME, Phil’s former positions include President of Plains Illinois (2300 wells), President of Calumet Florida (11,000 foot ESP/RP wells), Chairman of the Illinois Oil and Gas Advisory Board and Treasurer of the Illinois Petroleum Resource Board; Other achievements worth noting include receiving “Illinois Wildcatter of the Year”, 2020-2021 SPE Distinguished Lecturer, and authored/co-authored 2 SPE papers and a SPWLA paper.
Currently, he desires to grow Omega Technologies by working with companies who are looking to reap the benefit of combining technology, experience, and a shared vision to apply innovations that squeeze more oil from old fields while improving employee job satisfaction. In addition to providing oilfield improvements, he enjoys family time and missionary work.
